CARBON dioxide removal CDR
We're considering several technologies for carbon dioxide removal (CDR) from the atmosphere. They tend to fall under the term geo-engineering, large scale corrective measures to mitigate climate change. While they work well in theory, many carry immense risks, costs, and disruptions, which is why it is generally difficult to build consensus. And, despite all the fuss about CO2, it's only 0.04% of the air around us, so it is hard to catch it efficiently with machines.
